Melissa Kieling, Co-Founder

Melissa Kieling was born and raised in Iowa where she completed her studies.  Upon graduation, she moved to NYC and began obtaining extensive knowledge in finance while working for Dow Jones Telerate.  Also while living in New York, Melissa exposed herself to the world of design. Melissa has always been interested in the variety of design projects she has completed.  She always has enjoyed the creative challenge, working directly with people, and pushing herself to produce the best work possible.  For many years, Melissa's children have been a passionate focus, nevertheless she always has loved the fusion of practical projects with the creative process.  It was a natural progression for her to ignite the thinking behind PackIt. Melissa has proven to be not only an incredible veteran stay-at-home mom, but also a skilled, visionary entrepreneur, taking practical ideas and bringing them to life with design, form and function.
